Bloganza 2011

Seeing as how one, it has been far too long since we last had a blog post; two, so much has happened between our Santa visit and now; and three, our free time has been severely limited by a wholesale increase in the demands made upon our time.... we have decided to bombard the blogosphere with a our holiday rundown.  Essentially, here is our world in a minute.

We flew from DC to Minneapolis to SLC. Minneapolis was cold, their stadium roof collapsed, Brynn got to see GGMA Burk.

Touchdown in SLC, drive to Pocatello.  Cheryl was our gracious hostess for a mini-reunion of the Whittier kind for Christmas #1.  In more recent news Doug has made another donation to orthopedic surgeons of Idaho.  We hope for another quick and complete recovery from a fall dealing with an unstable ladder.  Doug's hand was saved, the drill was not. Sad.

The cousins were there, minus Sadie.  She has now been subtracted from next year's gift list until amends are made.  Jason was the master chef. Sarah's stock on the singles exchange is at an all time high, one investor is seriously interested.

Bryn was happy to see GMa. Bryn was happier to see Oscar. Ah-ah-oscar.

GPa was inspired by Black Swan.  Voila his pirouette.

Contrary to how it looks, Bryn is quite fond of Uncle Scott. Scott has become a workout obsessed "A" student - he has now put us all to shame.

Erin was Santa. Erin was covetous. The zebra snuggie is now in her room.

Christmas #2: St George, Utah.  There were grandkids abound, puffs for all, and our bi-annual meeting of the Pehrson clan.  Future meetings are in serious question with a couple of pharmacists (one near completion, the other much closer to the depart), a doctor, and an attorney. Future meetings will likely be held in exotic locations in an effort to consolidate vacation and family time.

Overwhelmed.

Overjoyed.

Over-ate.

Over-dressed.  (Or under-dressed)

Tony is a model uncle.

Christmas still confuses Jen. She hasn't learned that a budget at Christmas has never been, nor will it ever be, followed.  This year, new DSLR camera and 10 days in Europe.

Bryn won't be going.  But she's still cute.

In the last week she has learned her first word - Dad (she's already picked a favorite!), got her first tooth, started crawling, can now go from laying down to sitting up on her own, and began sleeping through the night.  Apparently she was saving up.

Leopard print courtesy of Spencer and Tara. Much too adorable.

Christmas #3 - Farmington, Utah.  Bryn got spoiled, G-Ma was happy to do it.  In other news, G-Ma and G-Pa will be flying from Huntington Beach following a work conference to watch Brynlee in D.C. for 10 days while Mom and Dad selfishly visit Paris, Venice, Rome, and Southern France.

And that's our world in a minute.
