While many of the adults slaved away in the kitchen preparing a feast of prime rib and potatoes, the kids had more important things to do with their time. Liam was completely fascinated with Brynlee's "panda paws," which are simply the most coziest slippers known to man. I personally am impressed she let someone else's toes enjoy them even if was only for a few seconds.
Meanwhile, Hudson spent the afternoon perched in arms of the nearest person who was willing to pick him up. Grandma Steph is always such a pushover when it comes to her grand babies and therefore found herself toting Hudson around everywhere. Hudson also took it upon himself to let Tony know when he was cut off from the bubbly. The look on Hudson's face clearly states, "Uncle Tony, consider this an intervention. Here, let me take that for you."
It was a feast fit for royalty and everyone walked/crawled/stumbled away from the table with full bellies. After spending a hour on clean-up detail, my family and I bundled up the kids and all the great-grandparents and headed downtown to enjoy the lights at Temple Square.
